Thanks for getting acquainted with our family and the Lord's work in Romania.

HISTORY:

We met in Romania in 91 and worked together 2yrs with Albanian refugees in Bucharest. In '93 we married and moved to Albania, but after a short stay returned to Romania, to a city called Calarasi, where we're currently serving the Lord. Today we have three wonderful children; Andrew, Peter and Angela. In '94 the Lord opened doors in nearby villages and we saw several people come to Christ. In '95 an assembly was born. Over the years we've done our best to invest in people. I'm sure we've made mistakes along the way, but we've strived to love the people and obey what we find in scripture.

CURRENT MINISTRY:

  1. Roseti

with many believers from this gypsy village we're working to develop leaders, so they can become an independent assembly.
  2. Calarasi

is a city of about 50,000 people. The believers are mature, but few. We're trying to build-up the work as we prepare for the departure of the believers from Roseti.
  3. Dobrogea

is a spiritually dark, isolated region east of the Danube river. Apart from personal visits and spiritually oriented outreaches, we've been hosting summer camps for vthe local children and developing the camp facility. Its been a wonderful journey. We had many opportunities to witness the Lord's faithfulness. We're grateful to everyone who's been a part of making this journey possible. Together with those who stand with us in prayer and support, we hope to bring love and light into our corner of the world, advance the Kingdom of God and please our Lord, who's done so much for us. write us! we'd love to hear from you!

Albania Missionary Outreach:

We're pleased to see the Lord opening doors to reach out to Albania again. This summer I was with 5 men from the assembly in Calarasi in Albania. We'd been invited to join another group and support with literature distribution. Thru this trip we were again in contact with Librado Salgado, a missionary from mexico. Mihaela and I lived with him in Tirana in 1993. We have found many things we can do to support him and the assembly has gotten behind this project. Lord willing we hope to return in late fall (end Nov early December) or during Christmas break. We are very excited about these developments and enjoy watching the the growth of the assembly in Calarasi. It's wonderful watching the transformation of the assembly from a needy church to a giving church. THIS IS EXCITING !!!
